The challenge

For nearly a decade, we’ve partnered with Lakeshore Learning to help re-energize their family-owned brand, united by a shared mission: to ignite a lifelong love of learning in children.

What began as a single brick-and-mortar store has evolved into a leading provider of high-quality classroom furniture and educational materials for early childhood programs, elementary schools, and homes.

Our challenge was clear: elevate brand awareness on a national scale and shift public perception. Lakeshore was widely known as a store for teachers and through our targeted PR efforts, we helped reposition it as a parent-friendly destination for play-based, at-home learning as well.

Strategy and Execution

To build mass awareness, we developed a multi-faceted strategy centered on media relations and influencer engagement. Our goal was to tell Lakeshore’s brand and product story in a way that was both compelling and newsworthy. Our strategy was rooted in leveraging partners who are a trusted source for parents and media that could communicate Lakeshore’s unique point of difference.

We have organized in-person influencer events to drive retail foot traffic, secured broadcast segments featuring key spokespeople to amplify regional visibility, and landed national media placements including top-tier holiday gift guide coverage. This integrated approach not only revitalized the brand’s presence but also significantly expanded its reach.

We successfully turned a modest budget into major revenue growth and lasting brand impact. Our media campaigns consistently deliver year-over-year increases in annual impressions by 10-20%, driving sustained visibility and engagement.
