3rd Coast PR Sailing Upwards with New Space and Client Growth
CHICAGO: 3rd Coast PR, an award-winning communications and PR firm, has expanded to a larger office in Chicago to accommodate the firm’s growth. The agency, which doubled between 2014 and 2015, has recently hired former Edelman staffer Meredith Payette as an account supervisor and former Anti-Cruelty Society PR lead Trisha Teckenbrock as an account executive. Both bring years of expertise in the consumer-packaged goods, technology and pet categories.
The agency has recently added four new clients to its roster including two from the consumer sector and two B2B in the ingredient and floral industries. They are Kuros!, Blue by Blueair, Socius Ingredients and International Floriculture Expo. 3rd Coast PR was brought on to strategically guide and extend these brands into new product and retail categories.
Kuros! is a company that supports donations of pepper spray to women in developing nations, giving them a fighting chance to defend themselves against assault. The agency will be supporting their expansion into new product categories with strategic PR initiatives. The agency helped launch Blue, a mid-market air purifier with the highest clear air delivery rate, from Swedish brand Blueair at the International Home and Housewares Show in Chicago this past February.
On the B2B side, Socius Ingredients launched Glyloid, the first tamarind gum extract to the U.S. market, and looked to 3rd Coast PR to conduct B2B media strategy for their new product launch. The International Floriculture Expo tapped 3rd Coast Chicago media expertise to garner media attention and boost attendance for its B2B tradeshow, being held in Chicago for the first time.
